Alex F. Webb (UK)
Alex's work deals with storytelling in relation to notions of place and landscape. In September 2015 he self-published 'Blind Landing Experimental Unit (BLEU)' which pictorially reinterprets events and evidence relating to a famous UFO conspiracy theory that began with an alleged landing in Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk. In November 2015 BLEU was shortlisted for The Anamorphosis Prize, whilst an exhibition of work from the book was held at Webber Gallery Space in London.
Between 2009 and 2014 Alex co-ran Fourteen Nineteen, a photobook publisher geared towards championing younger artists.

Jonas Feige (DE)
Jonas' photographic approach aims to explore and uncover things that can only be revealed and grasped through the filter of a camera lens illuminating moments and sights that would otherwise pass by unnoticed. The aim of these images is to convey a sentiment or a thought that would challenge the viewer and his or her perception.
Jonas received training in Media and Graphic Design from 2009–2012. In 2012 he moved to Berlin to study photography at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie. He graduated in October 2015 with the series 'Nacht auf der Sonne', which won the Conscientious Portfolio Competition 2015.

Aleksu F. Vebu interesē ainava un tās izmantojums stāstījuma veidošanā. 2015. gada septembrī viņš pašpublicēja grāmatu 'Blind Landing Experimental Unit (BLEU)', kas interpretē populāru konspirācijas teoriju par NLO nolaišanos Safolkas novadā Lielbritānijā. 2015. gadā 'BLEU' tika nominēts Anamorphosis balvai un izstādīts Webber Gallery Space Londonā.
No 2009. līdz 2014. gadam Alekss bija viens no izdevniecības 'Fourteen-Nineteen' dibinātājiem un vadītājiem, tā koncentrējās uz jaunu autoru izdošanu un promotēšanu.

Jonass Feige fotogrāfijā mēģina atklāt un izzināt lietas, kuras iespējams notvert tikai ar objektīva palīdzību un citādāk paslīdētu garām. Šo attēlu mērķis ir likt skatītājam apzināties veidu, kādā uztveram fotogrāfiju.
No 2009. līdz 2012. gadam Jonass apguva mediju un grafisko dizainu. Vēlāk viņš pārvācās uz Berlīni, lai studētu fotogrāfiju Ostkreuz fotogrāfijas skolā. Viņš absolvēja programmu 2015. gadā ar sēriju 'Nacht auf der Sonne', kas ieguva arī Conscientious Portfolio balvu.

The Flâneur Residency in Riga is organised by ISSP in the framework of the Flâneur - New Urban Narratives project. The talks are a part of Riga Photomonth 2016.
Friday, May 26, at 6 PM we invite you to an artist talk by our artist-in-residence Fred Mungo, and kuš! artist-in-residence Gina Wynbrandt! They will speak about their work and present the projects they are working on during their stay in Riga.
No 12. maija līdz 13. jūlijam ISSP Galerijā ir skatāma Rīgas Fotogrāfijas biennāles – NEXT 2023 apbalvojuma “Meklējam jauno fotogrāfijā!” laureātes, lietuviešu mākslinieces Ievas Baltadonītes izstāde “Izrautie”. From May 12 to July 13, the ISSP Gallery is hosting Uprooted, an exhibition of the Riga Photography Biennial - NEXT 2023 award "Seeking the Latest in Photography!" winner, Lithuanian artist Ieva Baltaduonytė. The opening will take place on May 11 at 18:00, followed by presentations of works by the five photographers shortlisted for the award at 19:00.
Laikmetīgā teātra režisores Elīnas Cērpas multimediju izstādes “Jūtīgā virsma” ietvaros ISSP Galerija aicina iepazīties ar irākiešu fotogrāfa Jasīna Al-Obeīdī uzņemto portretu arhīvu un noklausīties mākslinieces stāstījumu par Bagdādes fotosalonu kultūru 27. aprīlī plkst. 20.00.
No 25. marta līdz 4. maijam ISSP Galerijā būs skatāma laikmetīgā teātra režisores Elīnas Cērpas multimediju izstāde “Jūtīgā virsma”, kas ir veltīta fotografēšanai kā sevis izzināšanai un pieņemšanai, pētot dziļi personiskus attēlu tapšanas iemeslus. Izstādes atklāšana notiks 24. martā plkst. 18.00.
From 25 March to 4 May the ISSP Gallery will host the multimedia exhibition Sensitive Surface by Latvian contemporary theatre director Elīna Cērpa. The exhibition is dedicated to photography as a tool for self-discovery and acceptance. The exhibition will open on 24 March at 18.00 at the ISSP Gallery.
Trešdien, 23. novembrī, plkst. 18.30 ISSP Galerijā notiks sociālpolitiski aktīvai mākslai Latvijā veltīta saruna, kurā ar savu pieredzi un radošajiem projektiem dalīsies mākslinieki Mailo Štern, Daniela Vētra, Ingrīda Pičukāne, Konstantīns Žukovs un Jānis Balodis. Ievadu sarunai sniegs kuratore Līna Birzaka-Priekule, bet vēlāk diskusiju moderēs pētniece Laine Kristberga.
No 17. novembra līdz 26. janvārim ISSP Galerijā ir skatāma fotogrāfa Reiņa Hofmaņa personālizstāde “Telpa Nr. 13”. Tajā ir aplūkojama daudzu gadu garumā radīta fotogrāfiju sērija, kurā autors pievērsies dažādu, lielākoties mums apslēptu telpu vizuālai izpētei. Laipni lūgti!
From November 17 until January 26 the solo exhibition Room No. 13 by Latvian photographer Reinis Hofmanis is on view at the ISSP Gallery. The exhibition feature a collection of photographs taken over the span of several years exploring the visuality of various, mostly hidden spaces. Welcome!

From September 16 to November 11 the ISSP Gallery will host a solo exhibition by Icelandic artist Bjargey Ólafsdóttir. Rófurass. The Dog Within is dedicated to the relationship between humans and their canine pets. Work on the series began in 2018, while the artist was taking part in the ISSP Riga Residency. The opening will take place on September 15 from 6.00 - 8.00 PM. Welcome!

Kristina Õllek’s solo exhibition Filtering With Cyanobacteria, Double Binds & Other Blooms at the ISSP Gallery (15.07–09.09.2022) is a continuation of her ongoing project Filter Feeders, Double Binds & Other Silicones, based on personal observations and research around anthropocentric influences on marine ecology.
