Alexander Gronsky. [02-24-2022]

€50.00 (Sold out)

A collection of photographs shot in Russia during the war in Ukraine by Russian photographer Alexander Gronsky is now available for order in limited edition.

All profits from sales will be donated to relief organizations working in Ukraine.

In [02-24-2022], Alexander Gronsky shares the first views of his new series – a still unfinished visual chronicle of the author’s journey through the calendar, the seasons and peripheral neighborhoods of a city that we may not know. The date, 02-24-2022, is the context and the title of this rare publication. The photographs are stops in Gronsky’s suburban flânerie – in a manner of subjective documentary, he elaborates an unsettling and powerful allegory of a city that is invasive.

Alexander Gronsky (1980) is an Estonian-born Russian photographer working on documentary projects focusing on the contemporary Russian landscape. Gronsky's work focuses on how geography influences the emotions and behaviours of its inhabitants. He has won many photography awards, including the World Press Photo (2012) and the Foam Paul Huf Award (2010).
