Viņa grāmatas "The Winners" (2014), "7 Rooms" (2011) guvušas plašu atzinību pasaulē. Milaha darbi apbalvoti starptautiski nozīmīgos fotogrāfijas konkursos. Kolektīva Sputnik Photos līdzdibinātājs. Milaha darbi atrodas vairāku valstu mākslas muzeju kolekcijās un izstādīti daudzviet pasaulē.
Pasākums norisināsies angļu valodā. / Ieeja bezmaksas.
Rafala Milaha izstāde "Džentelmeņu pirmais maršs" apskatāma ISSP Galerijā no 16.02 - 22.03.2018. Vairāk par izstādi: ŠEIT

An artist talk by Rafal Milach on Saturday 17 February 3pm at the ISSP Gallery in connection with his exhibition “The First March of Gentlemen”.
The talk will be dedicated to forms of propaganda in the former Eastern Bloc and how they unfold in his latest works The First March of Gentlemen and Refusal, which is shortlisted for the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2018.
While it is difficult to find neutral ground in an often polarised, radicalised and divided society, Milach believes that the duty of an artist is to reflect the contemporary environment. If this environment is political, the reflection should also be political. Everything from landscapes and architecture to micro-scale objects can easily become a part of the ideological apparatus.
