Everyone is cordially invited to visit Kuldīga to attend the ISSP 2013 final exhibition - the collection of photo-series, photobooks and video works created by 71 ISSP participants during the week of the International Summer School of Photogrpahy 2013 in Pelči, Kuldīga from 3 to 10 August!
10 August 2013:
19:00 - Opening of the ISSP Exhibition at Kuldīga Town library (1905.gada iela 6)
22:30 - Screening of ISSP works at Kuldīga Open air cinema ("Goldingen Cinema", Pils iela 5)
The exhibition will remain open to public until 30 September.
Aicinām doties ceļojumā uz Kūldīgu, lai aplūkotu ISSP 2013 noslēgumu darbu izstādi - fotogrāfijas, grāmatas un video darbi ko radījuši Starptautiskās fotogrāfijas vasaras skolas dalībnieki nedēļas laikā no 3. līdz 10.augustam Pelčos, Kuldīgas novadā.
2013. gada 10.augustā:
plkst 19:00 - izstādes atklāšana Kuldīgas centrālās bibliotekas mākslas namā (1905.gada iela 6)
plkst. 22:30 - ISSP noslēguma darbu slaidšovs Kuldīgas brīvdabas kinoteatrī ("Goldingen Cinema", Pils iela 5)
Izstāde ir atklāta apmeklējumam līdz 30.septembrim.

No 4. - 27. jūlijam Tabakas fabrikā notiks izstāde Rīgas paš/portreti - mūsdienu rīdzinieku portrets caur viņu pašu un mākslinieku acīm. Laipni lūgti! :::: The Riga Self/Portraits exhibiton will be on display at Tabakas Fabrika, Rīga, from July 4 - 27, presenting a contemporary portrait of Riga through the eyes of its residents and artists. Welcome!
ISSP vasaras skolas laikā Pelču internātskolā notiks fotogrāfijas darbnīca Pelču jauniešiem "Mans Stāsts". Darbnīca tiks integrēta ISSP pasākumā un tās dalībnieki apgūs fotogrāfijas pamatus, mācoties izteikties par sevi un pasauli ar attēlu palīdzību, radot personiskos foto stāstus. Darbnīcas rezultāti tiks izstādīti ISSP gala izstādē Kuldīgas Mākslas namā.

Pieteikumus gaidām no aktīviem fotogrāfijas interesentiem, kas vēlas paplašināt savu izpratni par fotogrāfijas mediju un iemācīties izteikties ar fotogrāfijas palīdzību, veidojot personiskus autorprojektus.
ISSP Skolas otrais izlaidums ir klāt! Izstāde MISFITS ar desmit jauno autoru līdzdalību Kaņepes centrā no 28.maija līdz 8.jūnijām. Esat aicināti uz izstādes atklāšanu trešdien 19:00 Kaņepes Kultūras centrā!
Ceturtdien, 22. maijā plkst. 18:30 kino Splendid Palace ar savu darbu prezentāciju uzstāsies leģendārais Argentīnas fotogrāfs Markoss Lopezs, kurš Rīgā viesojas projekta "Rīgas paš/portreti" un Rīga 2014 programmas ietvaros! Laipni lūgti!
The applications for the ISSP 2014 are closed. We received over 200 applications from around 40 countries. The evaluation committee for this year are photographer Alnis Stakle (LV), Editor of FK Magazine Arnis Balčus (LV), Editor of GUP Magazine Erik Vroons (NL) and director of PhotoIreland festival Angel Luis Gonzalez Fernandez (IE). Selection results will be known in the beginning of June!

This year in Kuldīga - photographing history with Simon Norfolk, portraits with Antonin Kratochvil, subversive tactics with Yurie Nagashima, bookmaking with Rafal Milach & Ania Nalecka, multimedia with Adrian Kelterborn, and the real world documentary with Mark Steinmetz. Applications are open for Artist's Book Workshop with Nico Baumgarten, from 3-7 May in Riga! Photographers, illustrators, graphic artists and other creatives with projects ready for presentation in form of a book are welcome to apply by 1st April!
