ISSP Gallery at the art fair Photo Basel in Berlin
:: ENG ::
From September 11 to 13, the ISSP Gallery participates in the Photo Basel art fair, taking place at the acclaimed Tempelhof Flughafen in Berlin. This time, the ISSP Gallery offers an opportunity to get to know works by Latvian photographer Iveta Gabaliņa.
Photo Basel Berlin edition welcomes 20 international galleries, exhibiting over 200 photographic positions by a little more than 45 artists. Since its inaugural edition in 2015, Photo Basel has cemented its profile as the most prominent photography fair in the German-speaking region. Bringing together galleries from around the world, the fair fosters a dialogue between members of the photographic and broader art world communities, attracting international media, visual art experts and collectors at key moments in the annual art world calendar.
No 11. līdz 13. septembrim ISSP Galerija piedalās “Photo Basel” mākslas mesē, kas norisinās leģendārajā Tempelhofas lidostā Berlīnē. Šoreiz ISSP Galerija apmeklētājus iepazīstina ar latviešu fotogrāfes Ivetas Gabaliņas darbiem.
“Photo Basel” Berlīnes mākslas mese šoruden pulcē 20 galerijas no dažādām pasaules valstīm, kuras izstāda vairāk nekā 200 darbu no nedaudz vairāk nekā 45 māksliniekiem.
The terrific and dangerously fruitful mixture of talent and youth, creativity and professionalism,responsibility and integrity, curiosity and persistence, joy and freedom- makes the ISSP summer school truly unforgettable. I miss it a lot!
Enthusiasm, energy and creative craziness seldom materialize in such progressive and altruistic form as in case of ISSP. It is the way of working of the organizers as well as the surroundings that they have chosen that set the atmosphere of the summer school. And the atmosphere is one of joyful creation; brotherhood of attempt, sisterhood of success.
From 5th till ~11 July a considerable part of ISSP team will be in sunny Arles in France, for the Rencontres d’Arles festival! Any photography education establishments who wish to think about joint cooperation projects, or simply to get to know ISSP and enjoy our company and a glass of french vine together are welcome to contact us. You can write to firstname.lastname@example.org. À très bientôt! :)
