In Riga, artist residencies for two photographers from the project partner countries will be held in April - May 2016. A presentation event with the results of the residency will happen in May 2016, during the Riga Photomonth. An open-call for these residencies will be announced later this year.
During the International Summer School of Photography 2016 in Kuldīga, Latvia there will be also be a workshop dedicated to the idea of contemporary “flâneurs” and urban spaces.

On November 13 at 6.30 PM a meeting with ISSP Riga Residency artists Cleo Wächter (the Netherlands) and Demelza Watts (the UK) will take place at the ISSP Gallery, Riga. The attendees will have a chance to hear about their previous work, as well as projects they are developing in Riga.

Great news, we will continue to host artists at our wonderful residency apartment next year! Applications for the ISSP Riga Residency are now open for the time period December 2019 - May 2020! The ISSP Residency is aimed at photographers and a diverse range of artists working with photography and provides an opportunity for concentrated work on a personal project in Riga for a period of 1 - 2 months.
