Call for applications: "Void Impromptu"
Aicinām pieteikties grāmatu un zīnu darbnīcai "Void Impromtu" ar Void dibinātājiem Mirto Steiro un Žuāo Linēu no 1. - 6. maijam. Darbnīca paredzēta fotogrāfiem un māksliniekiem, kas vēlas realizēt savu autorprojektu grāmatas vai zīna veidā. Pieteikšanās līdz 1.martam!
ISSP invites you to participate in the workshop "Void Impromtu" with Void founders Mirto Steiro and João Linneu in Riga on May 1-6. The workshop is open for artists and photographers who want realise their project in form of a book dummy or zine. Apply by March 1!
Stories from Kuldiga - National Geographic workshop results
Here are the results of the workshop "Documentary photo-essay: Stories form Kuldīga" led by Sarah Leen and Bill Marr of National Geographic Magazine to 16 young Latvian photographers in Kuldīga, Latvia on 26-29 May 2011. 16 stories, transformed into collective dedication to the town of Kuldīga.
ISSP izveido Skolu un izsludina pieteikšanos mācību gadam 2011/12!
Mūsu vairāku mēnešu garumā lolots projekts ir klāt - ISSP Skola! Mācību kurss fotogrāfiem, kuri vēlās iedziļināties medija saturiskajos aspektos deviņu mēnešu garumā, paralēli strādājot pie personīgā projekta un mācoties no Latvijas labākiem fotogrāfiem. Nodarbības notiks no 2011.gada septembra līdz maijam, darbadienu vakaros. Grupas dalībnieku skaits - 15 cilvēki. Pieteikumus pieņemam līdz 10.jūlijam!
ISSP 2011 notifications
Dear ISSP applicants, today we have sent email notifications to all, both selected and unselected applicants, informing about the results and the next steps for selected participants. But it looks like some of them may be stuck in spam filters! In case you have not received information on the selection results, check your spam storage first. ISSP 2011 participants selected
Good morning! The process of careful ISSP participants selection is now completed, and the list of the 60 photographers who will be offered places in Workshops 1-5 is online! Together with the Borderlines workshop, ISSP 2011 will host 72 photographers from 24 countries of the world. The list will be adjusted pending participants confirmations. We will inform all the applicants by email shortly.

ISSP izsludina pieteikšanos uz meistardarbnīcu "Dokumentālā foto-eseja: Stāsti no Kuldīgas" ar žurnāla National Geographic galveno foto-redaktori Sāru Līnu un radošo direktoru Billu Marru. Darbnīca notiks no 2011. gada 26. – 29. maijam Kuldīgā. Pieteikšanas termiņš: 6. maijs!
